Beaches of fine white sand stretch along a blue-green sea.
With breath-taking scenery this Caribbean island waits for you.
On the West Coast of Barbados the calm waters of the Caribbean Sea Coral reefs fringe the Barbados shoreline. Along the East coast the beaches are wide and wind-blown making it a delight for the surfers who come from all over the world. Barbados has a mild and pleasant tropical climate. The average daily high temperature is 28°C (83°F), while the low average is 21°C (70°F). The dry season is from December to June, with rainfall and humidity increasing during July and November.
Enjoy life
What do? Relax on a beach chair under the palm trees or indulge in some of the many watersports available including snorkelling, scuba diving or surf. Sports enthusiasts can watch a cricket game, play world class golf, play tennis, go to the thoroughbred horse races or watch a polo match.
But Barbados is also known for it’s night life, music, history and some of the best restaurants. And don’t forget to visit a rum factory. Rum has been produced in Barbados for over 350 years and it’s recognised as one of the finest (and strongest!) in the world today.
The romantic island
And there is the tropical sunset, perfect for a cool romantic stroll. Nothing really beats being hand in hand with the person you love. A honeymoon in Barbados is often seen as the perfect choice for couples.
Barbados, a mix of the familiar and the exotic.
